What started as a hobby in a little ice rink in Charlotte, NC, quickly grew into an all-encompassing lifestyle.
I started out as a sports photographer covering amateur ice hockey in Charlotte and eventually moved on to weddings, landscapes, portraits, and special events all across the country. I have had the privilege of meeting and working with some of the best photographers and artists around. I have worked in studios, convention centers, and concert halls. I have worked under some of the worst conditions imaginable and some of the most beautiful places in the United States, and I have thrived. A deep-seeded need to travel and a deep love of photography have provided me with opportunities that most people only dream of.
If my work seems to be erratic and unfocused it is only because I believe that everyone, not just artists, should not limit themselves to just one area of life. Meeting new people, seeing new places, and experiencing new cultures is what life should be all about. My camera allows me that opportunity.
